'Teen Mom' Star Jenelle Evans Gets Extension On Restraining Order Against Ex-Husband

Jenelle Evans has been given an extension on her restraining order against ex-husband David Eason, keeping in place an order forcing him to stay away from the reality star.

According to the Davidson County, Tennesse courts Jenelle has been given a two-week extension on the order and is due back in court at a later date to argue whether or not to make the order permanent.

The 'Teen Mom 2' faced off in courtroom Monday, and the judge decided to push back the court date. In the hearing, according to Radar Online, Evans' lawyer asked that the extension be given in order for her legal team to secure a witness who will be testifying against Eason.

Jenelle Claims She Is The Victim Of Abuse

As we reported, Jenelle rushed to court on Halloween to filed a restraining order against her husband claiming he was verbally and physically abusive.

At the time, many fans wondered if Evans' was making a play to get back on television. The reality star and her husband were fired from the show after backlash over the killing of the family dog.

Eason was accused of shooting the pooch after it allegedly bit one of their children in the face.

Following the accusation, the couple temporarily lost custody of their kids to child services.

The Detailed Accusations

According to legal documents filed by Evans, she claims David's threatening behavior had "escalated" recently, saying "Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children's well-being."

The 'Teen Mom' star detailed 11 different incidents of alleged abuse she claims David inflicted over the past 2 years.

Jenelle claims in one instance she actually recorded David threatening her, who she says at the time, locked child Kaiser a running vehicle. "While Kaiser was trying to unlock it, David continuously locked it again with my spare key, scaring both me and Kaiser," Jenelle claimed.

In the recording, she says David can be heard saying, "You can die for all I care. You're a piece of s***. Biggest piece of s*** I've ever seen."

David Accuses Jenelle Of Cheating

In the legal documents, Evans detailed an incident where she claims David suspected she was cheating on him while she was out of town on business.

She claimed he allegedly sent her a picture of a guy and texted, "This is your new boyfriend. I'm going to break his neck and feed you his head. My goal in life is to make sure you regret leaving me like this."

Janelle says she is the victim of both verbal and physical abuse and, "given his actions, and knowing his temperament, I believe he was implying that he would kill himself if I do not come back to him."

She continued, "For all of these reasons, I'm afraid that David will harm me or my children, and that he will continue to threaten me using text messages, phone calls, or on the internet."

A judge issued the restraining order, and David was ordered to stay away from her and the children. Jenelle left North Carolina and is currently living in Tennessee.

'Teen Mom' Return?

Jenelle Evans lost her job starring in the MTV reality show 'Teen Mom' during the fight with her ex-husband but staying away from him maybe the way back into the production.

The network made the decision partially based on the fact Janelle's association with Eason had become dangerous for production staff.

So, many fans of the show think Janelle may starting the process of getting back on 'Teen Mom' and the first step would be to distance herself from David.

Jenelle addressed the situation on Instagram saying, "I've mostly kept off social media the past few days because I've been focused on making some big life decisions. I've life muy life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn't been pretty. But it's been my life."

She continued, "Like anyone else I want what's best for my kids and I want to be happy. With time away from Teen Mom I've started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I'm starting that now."
