'Teen Mom' Star Jenelle Evans Shares What She Is Thankful For During Nasty Divorce Battle
Jenelle Evans is in the middle of a nasty divorce and custody battle with her ex-husband but she posted there is still a lot to be thankful for this time of year.
"Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃💓 Thankful for the amazing kids I have and grateful for finally finding happiness within myself," the reality star tweeted.
It seems the 'Teen Mom 2' star is referring to the 'happiness' she has found removing herself from the chaotic environment involving her estranged husband, David Eason.
Fans of the reality star received tons of support on social media in reaction to her post. "Keep ya head up girl. I’ve been in the same situation and it takes a lot of courage and bravery that people who haven't been through won’t understand and throw judgment," one person wrote.
Another said, "So proud of you finding happiness within yourself helps you become the best version of yourself."

Thankful For My Kids!
As we reported, Jenelle has moved from North Carolina to Tennessee where she is living with her children. The move comes after the reality star filed for a restraining order against Eason.
The couple has made headlines several times in the last few months including Eason reportedly killed her dog, Nugget. The dog incident led to her getting fired from 'Teen Mom 2.'
As a result, the couple temporarily lost custody of their children and were forced to go to court to get them back.
Evans announced the end of the couple's marriage on Instagram, saying, “The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that's what is best for me, and for my kids.”
She ended the statement saying, “Today I’ve filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you’ll hear from us again soon.”
Nasty Divorce/Custody Battle
'Teen Mom' star Jenelle Evans obtained a restraining order against David after she claims he was verbally and physically abusive.
According to legal documents, filed by Evans, she claims David's threatening behavior has "escalated" recently, and "Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children's well-being."
The alleged abuse was detailed in a declaration the 'Teen Mom' star filed including 10 different incidents in the past few years.
All Caught On Tape...
Jenelle claims she has a recording of David threatening her after the couple argued in front of one of the children. "While Kaiser was trying to unlock it, David continuously locked it again with my spare key, scaring both me and Kaiser," Jenelle claimed.
In the tape, she says David can be heard saying "You can die for all I care. You're a piece of s***. Biggest piece of s*** I've ever seen."
Jenelle claimed in her restraining order that David also accused her of cheating, and sent her a picture of some guy, saying, "This is your new boyfriend. I'm going to break his neck and feed you his head. My goal in life is to make sure you regret leaving me like this."
Television Comeback?
In the end, Jenelle was issued the order keeping Eason away from her and her kids. During the hearing she told the judge, "given his actions, and knowing his temperament, I believe he was implying that he would kill himself if I do not come back to him. For all of these reasons, I'm afraid that David will harm me or my children, and that he will continue to threaten me using text messages, phone calls, or on the internet."
Many fans of the show believe this is the first step to Jenelle rejoining the cast of 'Teen Mom.' The production did not want to deal with the reality star while she was with Eason. But, with the restraining order in place, it may be reality show camera time.
