'Teen Mom OG' stars reunite with daughter's adoptive parents in rare TV appearance

Adoptive parents Teresa and Brandon Davis appeared on the Teen Mom OG: Reunion for the first time in 10 years. The private couple adopted Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell’s daughter Carly during the first season of 16 and Pregnant.

Carly was an open adoption, meaning Tyler and Catelyn have access to photos and occasional visits. However, there have been multiple times that the two sets of parents have clashed over Carly’s exposure on the show. In fact, the birth parents have even had visits revoked because of the drama.

Teresa recounted her reaction to learning the birth parents were on a TV show, saying, "Wow, we did not see that one coming of all the possible adoption scenarios."

Currently, the couples seem to be on good terms. During the recent season finale, the families spent a couple of days together. And while there have been ups and downs, Tyler told the Davis’s, “Thank you for letting us be involved and just see her, and just being amazing parents for her. We couldn't have really asked for anything more, honestly.”
