According to reports, Eason was ordered to appear in a North Carolina courtroom today, but he did not show up. The case stems from an alleged illegal truck-towing incident back in 2018.
At the time of the incident, David hitched onto and moved a car that he claimed was blocking him into a spot. Unfortunately, Eason decided to share a video of the event on social media to possibly teach the person a lesson.
The issue for him is that he also recorded himself doing the deed, and it is being used against him.
Warrant Issued For His Arrest
At the time, David captioned the video, "Learn the right way to deal with a$$holes who think it's cool to block you in a parking space."
The owner of the vehicle decided to press charges against David, and he was ultimately charged with tampering with a vehicle and injury to personal property.
According to the New Hanover criminal clerk's office, David continued the case several times but was ordered to appear today. His lawyer did, but he didn't -- so the judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
So, in a case like this...police may not go looking for the former 'Teen Mom' star to arrest him, but if he gets pulled over he could get taken to jail. In many cases, as long as the person has a good excuse, the judge will quash the bench warrant when he appears at a later date.
Lastes In String Of Legal Problems...
This is just the latest in a string of legal issues for Eason, as we reported, Jenelle filed a restraining order against him claiming she was the victim of continued domestic violence.
In the filing, Jenelle claimed David's threatening behavior has "escalated" in recent months and "Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children's well-being."
Jenelle Files Restraining Order Against Eason
Jenelle also claimed she has recordings of David threatening her after the couple argued over a child getting locked in their car, "While Kaiser was trying to unlock it, David continuously locked it again with my spare key, scaring both me and Kaiser," she said.
In the tape, she claims David says "You can die for all I care. You're a piece of s***. Biggest piece of s*** I've ever seen."
Jenelle was issued the restraining order, allowing her to keep the children away from Eason.
