In this age of social media, Halloween means dressing up and post pictures of your costume on social media, especially if you're a celebrity. However, because this is the internet, the mommy shamers are also highly likely to find you if you have any fort of following.
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is discovering that after her girls dressed up for Halloween, including her oldest Aleeah as pop star Ariana Grande.
Instagram Controversy
In order to capture Grande's look, Aleeah sported her signature ponytail, high heels, and a lot of make up. Of course, despite this being explicitly a Halloween costume, people were up in arms over how "adult" Aleeah looked.

"She needs to slack off on the makeup way too much for her age."

Avoiding The Drama
Fans were also quick to jump to Messer's defense, because that's how people spend their time on Instagram now: getting in fights in the comment section of a reality TV star's posts.
"Girl ITS HALLOWEEN. I'm sure they dont wear it any other time... they're 9 n under..."
"Cuz its HALLOWEEN!! AND IT'S PART OF HER COSTUME/CHARACTER... GEEZ!"
Messer has yet to weigh in, and considering her recent relationship drama with her sort of ex Jeremy Calvert, she has other things on her mind.
