'Teen Mom 2': David Eason Ripped Apart As Goat Update Angers Fans
David Eason's most recent Instagram update is seeing him straight-up slammed. The former Teen Mom 2 star has been making headlines galore for splitting from the MTV franchise's former face, Jenelle Evans, although it's Eason's animal-related headline-making that's seen him fill media outlets this year.
Earlier this year, David was accused of fatally shooting the family's dog Nugget. An admission was documented, and it looks like followers of David's Instagram haven't forgotten it. David updated his social media over the weekend with a photo and video of himself with an adorable goat. Not all of the star's fans found the update adorable, though.

It's worth noting that the update showed David being pretty affectionate. The still selfie saw Eason looking right into the camera alongside the goat. Anyone swiping to the right then saw a little cuddle time, with David sending out kisses as the goat cozied up to him. This farm animal even got a named mention both in the video and its caption.
David's update may have clocked over 2,300 likes since going live, but the fan response hasn't all been positive. Backlash has been manifesting on account of David's history with Nugget, and it's safe to say that some fans didn't hold back with their replies.
What Fans Are Saying
"You killed a dog nuff said," was one of the most upvoted comments.
It was also a remark that didn't go unnoticed.
"So did your veterinarian," David clapped back.
"Because he killed a dog," was another comment.
"Why are u always taking pictures with animals kinda sick if u asked me," one fan wrote with two thinking emoji.
Negative remarks didn't dominate the comments section, but there's no denying that they were there.
"So we're just gonna forget you're [sic] killed your dog?" a fan asked.
David's Instagram- One Giant Farm?
A quick scroll through David's Instagram shows one animal-loving guy. Updates since Nugget's shooting have included David posing with a chicken on his head, plus a separate video of David surrounded by poultry with three of the cluckers balancing on one of the star's arms alone.
Jenelle might not be updating her Instagram with David anymore, but she's sent out a similar, animal-centric image over on her social media. Earlier this year, Jenelle's three kids all posed while holding chickens.
The Dog Shooting That Ended Jenelle's Screen Time
Nugget's death put Jenelle's airtime on Teen Mom 2 to an end. Following the alleged incident, a spokesperson from MTV said that the network had “ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of ’Teen Mom 2′ with him since. Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”
It Isn't All Hate
It's worth noting that David's update did generate a bit of gushing. Clearly, the star's followers have room in their hearts for a little forgiveness. At the very least, some were willing to acknowledge that the post was an upbeat one.
"Ohhh so cute," a fan wrote with three lip emoji.
"Awwww," was another reply that came complete with a heart-eye smiley.
David and Jenelle may be off the air, but their abilities to make a headline is far from over.
