This teen looks like Disney's Esmeralda, and the internet can't handle it

Esmeralda, is that you? Instagram user bbyg6rl’s uncanny resemblance to Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame character is hard to ignore. The self-dubbed “Indian girl” shared a photo of herself with a purple headband and gold accessories, which is just what the animated character wears. Her followers couldn’t help but compare her appearance to that of Esmeralda.

Bbyg6rl has nearly 280,000 Instagram followers, a sizable chunk of whom noticed the teen’s resemblance to Esmeralda. Her photo quickly racked up nearly 30,000 likes and 200 comments, with one commenter noting, “You look exactly like Esmeralda. With the hoops and the hair and all.” Another one added, “Esmeralda vibes, you look so much like her.”

Even without the similar accessories, the teen still resembles the Disney character, with her long, dark hair and striking green eyes making her the perfect real-life Esmeralda.

Bbyg6rl, who did not respond to requests for comment from Yahoo Lifestyle, is not the only one online who resembles a Disney character. Ollie Mei, 21, lives in Florida and looks a bit like Moana (albeit on purpose).
