Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's Daughter Slate Turned 9 with "All [Her] Favorite Things"

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's eldest daughter, Slate, is 9 years old. In an October 6 Instagram share, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum marveled at the milestone, sharing side-by-side snaps of her "angel" as a baby girl and as the young woman she is today.
"I blinked my eyes and my baby girl is turning 9 years old today," Teddi wrote. "Slate Angel the heart and work ethic you show in everything you do is so dang inspiring." She added: "I never believed my parents when they said times flies… but, what do you know, they were right. Enjoy all you can my love."

To ensure that Slate enjoyed her special day, Teddi and her family staged the cutest surprise for the grade-school student. In an Instagram Story, Teddi showed Slate strolling into the kitchen in the family's farmhouse-style abode, wearing her school uniform. "All your favorite things, Deezy!" Teddi said, referring to her daughter by her pet name.
The island had been set with a golden 9 balloon and cluster of smaller blue balloons ... as well as a giant spread of donuts. Slate made her birthday wish on one of the morning treats, and enjoyed a candle-topped donut for breakfast.
