Pop-rock Grammy winner Gwen Stefani has been a coach on “The Voice” seven different times now (though never consecutively), but this is the first season she is on the panel without Blake Shelton, whom she married in 2021. She successfully coached Carter Rubin to a victory in Season 19, and is itching to become a two-time “Voice” champion with her current crop of contenders. Now that the Season 24 blind auditions, battles and knockouts have concluded, can Gwen prevail yet again on NBC’s reality TV show?

Hometown: Little Rock, AR
Bias grew up in a very musical family. He goes by his last name, which symbolizes the pride and success he hopes to bring to his family name. His grandpa, Poppy, taught him guitar and his first country song. At 4, he learned how to play the drums with his brother, Brooks, and soon after his family became a four-piece band at church. Bias’ father is a worship leader and his dad auditioned to be a worship pastor at a church in Chattanooga. It was then, at age 15, that Bias met the pastor’s daughter, Karley and eventually they would marry. Now, after following in his father’s footsteps, Bias is starting his own path in music.
2. Kara Tenae (3-chair turn) — TOP 12
Hometown: Riverside, CA
Kara has been singing since she was a kid and pursuing music professionally since her early 20’s. She started a short-lived girl band after high school, which included a record deal. Kara had a short stint where she drove for Uber and would always serenade her passengers. She even had the opportunity to participate in an Uber campaign. She showed up on set and was put in a car, told to sing an original song and before she knew it, Julia Michaels was riding as her passenger. The campaign turned out to be a national commercial, and Kara’s original song was showcased for the world to hear. Now, Kara works the nightshift as a caregiver for the elderly as well as individuals with developmental disabilities. During the day, Kara works on her music and songwriting, posts covers to her YouTube channel, and, when she’s not working, loves to gig at local bars and restaurants. Kara even dropped her first EP last summer, which garnered positive publicity and the opportunity to perform at venues in the U.K.
3. Tanner Massey (3-chair turn) — TOP 12
Hometown: Choctaw, OK
Tanner grew up in an underground house built by his contractor grandfather, Billy, who designed and built the house as a precautionary measure against tornadoes and for its energy savings. Tanner shared a special bond with his grandpa, but unfortunately, he lost his battle with cancer three years ago. Tanner now wears his grandpa’s dog tags as a constant reminder of his love and strength. Tanner has graced stages across Oklahoma since he was 12. He has performed the national anthem at prominent sporting events and was also a member of the esteemed kids’ a cappella group Acapop! KIDS, led by Scott Hoying from Pentatonix. In a cover video, Tanner accumulated 16 million views on YouTube. Tanner also excels in acting and, during his early teens, would embark on trips to Los Angeles to audition for various acting opportunities.
Juliette Ojeda (3-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN BATTLES
Hometown: Hialeah, FL
Juliette is a proud first-generation Cuban-American. Juliette’s dad showed her different genres of music at a young age, and her mom introduced her to theater and films. Juliette was in band in middle school, danced and did choir in elementary and high school. She started taking private vocal lessons at age 13, and by her sophomore year of high school, she started getting cast as the lead in musicals. After switching schools, she was one of the first people to start up the musical theater program at Miami Arts Charter School and continued to take many lead roles in the school’s productions. Currently, Juliette is a student at the Boston Conservatory and is wrapping up her sophomore year. She has performed in student-written shows, musicals, an off-Broadway reading and various other places. Outside of school, Juliette’s main focus is singing on TikTok.
Calla Prejean (1-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN BATTLES
Hometown: Houston, TX
Calla has been a singer/songwriter since she was 17 years old and moved to Nashville to pursue music after high school. Calla has worked many different jobs in Nashville, but most recently worked as a personal assistant to country artist Sara Evans. This was a huge learning experience for Calla as she got to see how Sara balanced touring, creating music and family. Now, Calla is focusing on her own music and released a music video and singles “Self-Sabotage” and “Solo,” both of which were recently played on the radio. Calla wants to not only release original music, but also showcase her creativity through her brand. Calla feels she has outgrown Nashville and wants to move onto a bigger city to further pursue her career.
Joslynn Rose (3-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN BATTLES
Hometown: Lake Benton, MN
Joslynn has always loved music and is a skilled pianist. One of her most unique extracurricular activities is her role as a magician’s assistant. Joslynn has been working magic shows with local illusionist Max Fleet since she was 12. Max incorporates music in every show, and Joslynn has even had a chance to sing at some of the performances. Joslynn has eight sisters, and her parents have been fostering kids for the past eight years. In total, they have had around 20 kids come through their home. Things can get a bit chaotic in a household of 11 people. For Joslynn, music has been a lifeline. She can release her feelings and sort through them by singing. Joslynn and her family even play “The Voice” at family parties.
Claire Heilig (1-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN BATTLES
Hometown: Virginia Beach, VA
Claire is a proud mother to her 7-year-old son, Cayson, and a dog mom to Bear. She grew up singing, but was always skeptical about whether she could do it due to her performance anxiety. About a year ago, Claire started uploading covers to social media and her cover of Zach Bryan’s “Something in the Orange” garnered more than 1 million streams in the first few months. Since then, she’s been discovering her own sound and writing music about her life experiences. Outside of music, Claire is currently a sales rep for a medical software company and tries to gig one to two times a month at local venues during the day so she can devote her evenings to Cayson.
Eli Ward (2-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN BATTLES
Hometown: Waterloo, IL
Eli’s passion for music started when his mother enrolled him in piano lessons at the age of 5. He later taught himself how to play drums and guitar, and writing music soon followed. In high school, Eli had to learn to balance his many skills. He would do jazz band before school, run track after school, then drumline – all while maintaining good enough grades for the National Honor Society. Eli is a Division I athlete at the University of Iowa for the cross-country track team. When Eli runs, he breathes to the rhythm of a song he’s listening to, sometimes lasting up to 16 miles. Now a senior in college, Eli has made the tough decision to not continue on the team so he can focus on music. He’s in a band and they book gigs occasionally doing country covers. However, Eli hopes to focus on singing his own material which is more singer-songwriter / pop.
Chechi Sarai (4-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN KNOCKOUTS
Hometown: Pontiac, MI
Chechi is a first-generation Nigerian-American whose full name means “God’s wish” in Igbo. From age 13, Chechi began writing songs and turning heads with her whistle notes. Never thinking that music was an option as a career, Chechi went to college to study medicine. However, when she decided she wanted to pursue music instead, the transition was tough, especially in Michigan. Finding her artistry took time, and her final push was when she opened for Brian McKnight, which motivated her to take the plunge. Now having been in Los Angeles for the past six years, Chechi has made a name for herself. This year she performed with Lizzo at the Grammys doing background vocals. She has also been in Kanye West’s Sunday Service Choir. She fully supports herself with music and has finally convinced her mom that music is what she’s meant to do.
Jenna Marquis (3-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN KNOCKOUTS
Hometown: Simi Valley, CA
Jenna has known she’s wanted to be a singer since she was a little girl. Inspired by her dad, who plays many instruments and has been in bands throughout her life, Jenna took up piano and ukulele and is now learning guitar. Never having any issue with social settings or performing, Jenna was stopped in her tracks when she suddenly struggled with anxiety and panic attacks during her sophomore year of high school. She could no longer perform or sing in public. This is when Jenna started expressing herself through writing songs, even when she couldn’t bring herself to sing in front of anyone. Over time, she slowly got better and now believes the experience made her both a better person and a more connected artist. Now, Jenna is writing and recording music, gigging out locally three to four times a week and has amassed almost 170,000 followers on TikTok.
Jason Arcilla (2-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN KNOCKOUTS
Hometown: Kahului, HI
Jason’s parents migrated to the United States from the Philippines when Jason was 9 months, seeking a better life for their family. Jason started producing his own music when he was 14 and loved it, but he had to put it on the backburner when he was 17 when he and his high school sweetheart became parents to their daughter, Oshynn. Being a teen parent was extremely difficult for him and he struggled to get his music off the ground. When Oshynn was 5, Jason got full custody and moved Oshynn in with his parents. While Jason was working up to three jobs at one time, his mom helped him to raise Oshynn. Eventually, Jason started to make connections after getting a steady gig at his friend’s new bar. Now he gigs constantly and supports his daughter on his musician salary alone. He performs at resorts, private events, brunches, weddings, and more with his band, Jason Arcilla & the Rhythm Sons.

Hometown: Moorestown, NJ
CORii has established herself as a prominent figure in the industry, excelling not only as a talented singer but also as a successful songwriter. She captivated audiences on NBC’s “Songland,” where she showcased her song “What If,” which has amassed over 500,000 streams on Spotify alone. CORii lives with her husband and their 2-year-old son, Brooks. For the past couple of years, she decided to take a step back to prioritize her family, but now, CORii is ready to get back into the music industry. Throughout the years, CORii has performed extensively in Los Angeles, Philadelphia and New York. When not fulfilling her mom duties or performing, CORii writes and sings music for national cheer competitions, hustles for TV and film placements and teaches vocal lessons.
Rudi (4-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN PLAYOFFS
Hometown: San Antonio, TX
Rudi was born into a family who knew she was destined for music. Her grandfather passed away right before she was born, and her grandmother was convinced that Rudi was her grandfather reincarnated. Rudi’s grandfather was a talented Mariachi musician and the only other singer in the family. Rudi also loves mariachi and Spanish music, and it’s how she stays connected with her heritage. Rudi’s parents own a body shop where she and her four siblings work. Rudi has struggled to find her place at the shop and feels that she’s meant to be a performer. Her first performance was at age 2 when her mom handed her a mic at a kid’s expo and she sang “How Do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes. As a teenager, Rudi won a radio competition and performed a duet on stage with the band Boys Like Girls. Now, she’s writing a lot of her own music and wants to perform.
Stee (4-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN PLAYOFFS
Hometown: Washington, D.C.
Stee never wanted to be compared to his parents, who were classically trained singers. Instead, he grew up wanting to be an engineer until he heard R&B vocalist Mario and felt inspired. In 2014, he formed his band and performed at weddings and other events. One of Stee’s biggest fans and supporters was his cousin, Matthew, who also wanted to be a singer, but struggled with diabetes, which physically prohibited him from living his dream. Matthew has encouraged Stee to audition for “The Voice” since 2013. Unfortunately, Stee never got the opportunity to tell Matthew he would be taking the stage because Matthew passed away in May, but Stee is excited to live out this journey in honor of Matthew.
Lennon VanderDoes (3-chair turn) — ELIMINATED IN PLAYOFFS
Hometown: Wilmington, DE
Named after John Lennon, it’s no surprise that Lennon developed a love for music at an early age. Growing up in a large, musical family, Lennon wasn’t always confident in his singing abilities. His high-pitched voice was different, so he didn’t take singing seriously until a college friend helped him find his confidence. While living in Idaho after dropping out of college, Lennon reconnected with a childhood friend, Morgan. They got married and started a new chapter of their lives together in Phoenix. After moving, Lennon worked countless odd jobs to pay the bills before landing a job at a memory care facility with dementia patients. Today, Lennon is proud to be a full-time gigging musician. He is booked through multiple companies and performs four to five times a week while also regularly singing at retirement homes.
