TCU DL Chris Bradley somehow intercepted Mason Rudolph while being blocked
It’s not uncommon for a defensive lineman to intercept a pass on a screen play. But the play made by TCU’s Chris Bradley wasn’t any ordinary interception.
Bradley intercepted Oklahoma State star Mason Rudolph while being blocked.
Here’s another look at the play slowed down a bit. Bradley, lined up at nose tackle, totally knows Oklahoma State is running a screen pass from the moment the ball is snapped. Still, he has Oklahoma State’s Brad Lundblade — a 6-foot-3, 300-pound lineman — right in his grill, but he absorbs the contact with his eyes on Rudolph and makes a pretty remarkable play.
The interception came on Oklahoma State’s first drive of the second half with TCU already up 20-10 on the road. Bradley’s play gave the 16th-ranked Horned Frogs offense a short field. Six plays later, a Darius Anderson TD run extended TCU’s lead to 27-10.
The sixth-ranked Cowboys are in big danger of being upset.
