If there’s one thing Taylor Swift fans know about the superstar, it’s that she’s not afraid to take a theme seriously. After all, what she wears is often a clue about her next career move. While attending the Kansas City Chiefs games in support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce, for example, the “Lover” singer has donned a collection of red Chiefs-inspired clothing as well as subtle tributes to Kelce’s name and his jersey number 87.

At the Super Bowl yesterday in Las Vegas, Swift kept the red looks going as she was spotted holding a sparkling Football Clutch from Judith Leiber. The bedazzled red clutch, which retails for $4,495.00, was also a custom piece with the number 87 written on it.

Following the Chiefs’ major win, another world-famous athlete revealed Swift’s new bag was actually a gift. Sharing a picture to Instagram, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal revealed the bag was a gift to Swift from him and Authentic Brands Group CEO Jamie Salter.

“finally met @taylorswift,” the Lakers legend wrote in the caption. “me and @jamiejsalter gifted her a Nfl judith lieber bag.”

In the photo, Swift, who wore a Crochet Corset Top from Dion Lee, Crystal Slit Jeans from Area, and a Chiefs bomber jacket from WEAR by Erin Andrews, smiled to the camera in between O’Neal and Salter.

In the comments, followers of O’Neal are admiring the legend-meeting-legend moment. “Shaq got his wish 🙌,” commented one user. “You did it champ! 🐐” wrote another.

Prior to their meeting in the VIP box, it seems like the former basketball pro was open about his love for Swift and was already making plans to meet the singer. “If I see Taylor Swift and get to shake her hand, take a picture, I’ll be good,” O’Neal told Page Six ahead of the big game.

“She’s a fabulous person. I’m happy for her. I’m proud of her. She’s done a lot. She’s definitely a cultural icon,” O’Neal continued. “I just want to shake the hand of greatness.” Looks like Shaq’s a fan just like us!
