There's less than a ~fortnight~ to go until Taylor Swift drops The Tortured Poets Department, meaning fans are totally already busy analyzing songs that haven't even come out yet. But tbh, there's *a lot* to dig into just based on the information that's already available. Example? The upcoming track "So Long, London."

Obviously, the initial speculation was that the song is fully a reference to Joe Alwyn, whom Taylor lived with in London.

That! Said!!! New information has come to light that makes it even more clear the song is likely about Tay's ex. Take, for instance, the rumors (RUMORS!!!) that "So Long, London" is 9:28 long. To repeat: a full nine minutes and twenty-eight seconds in duration! And apparently, it's an extremely specific number that holds some major significance thanks to a long-held theory that September 28 (aka 9/28) is when Joe and Taylor first started dating.

Why do fans think this, you ask? Because Tay covered Earth Wind & Fire's "September" and changed the lyrics from "Do you remember the 21st night of September?" to "Do you remember the 28th night of September?"

I mean...!!!!!

Obviously, the song's duration could be wrong/only Taylor knows what really happened on that fated September 28, so keep that in mind before you fully spiral. 🌀🌀🌀

P.S. Taylor actually opened up about how she processes the Five Stages of Grief while introducing some new Apple Music playlists. On getting over a breakup, she wrote, "Here we finally find acceptance and can start moving forward from loss or heartbreak. These songs represent making room for more good in your life, making that choice because a lot of time when we lose things, we gain things too."
