The Kansas City Chiefs are leaning all the way into Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift — they know their audience these days! The football team released the most adorable rom-com trailer spoof on Hallmark movies that includes a few well-placed Easter eggs for Swifties.

The parody stars Pretty Little LiarsJanel Parrish and Canadian actor Tyler Hynes in a video entitled, Falling for Football. The storyline has two star-crossed lovers who melodramatically argue over the football post-season — a very relatable topic in many households. Parrish’s character, Amber, proclaims, “You’re not just a fan, it’s your livelihood! It’s the Chiefs or me!” What was Hynes’ character’s crime? Well, he was selling friendship bracelets in his shop that looked very similar to Eras Tour merchandise.

Amber had to confide in someone about her boyfriend troubles, so she heads to the small town’s diner where Donna Kelce (yep, Travis’ mom) makes a cameo. She answers the very poignant question, “How can he love me and football?” She wisely states, “You know, the heart can be in two places at once.” Indeed it can, but it’s time for another Swift reference!

Creed Humphrey, the Chiefs’ offensive lineman, comes out of the kitchen to let Donna know that “order number 13” is hot off the stove. Swifties love the lucky number 13. The marketing team might want to pitch this movie idea to Hallmark because the Swift and Kelce fans are all over it.

“This needs to be a real movie. So I can have something decent to watch when my wife gets in the hallmark holiday movie mood,” one fan wrote on YouTube. “Love the #13 and him touching the swiftie bracelets,” added another user. But we have to hand it to this fan, who summed it up in one fabulous pun, “KANSAS SWIFTIE CHIEFS ❤❤.”

Hallmark better be paying attention because this storyline is a guaranteed ratings blockbuster.
