Taylor Swift fans now have two versions of The Tortured Poets Department to choose from — and knowing Swifties, they’ll probably grab both.

During the surprise song section of her Eras Tour show in Melbourne Friday (Feb. 16), the 34-year-old pop star announced a second version of her upcoming 11th album dubbed The Bolter. Complete with an all-new cover and tagline — “You don’t get to tell me about sad” — the limited-edition package features an exclusive bonus track, also titled “The Bolter.”

Just like the OG edition of Tortured Poets, the “Bolter” version drops April 19 and is available now for preorder in CD, cassette tape and vinyl formats.

The announcement came in between surprise songs at the Melbourne Cricket Grounds stadium, the first of which was an acoustic guitar rendition of “Red.” Swift went on to play Midnights bonus track “You’re Losing Me” on the piano, revealing that the devastating ballad is “one of my favorites.”

Before playing the song, she shared that crafting Tortured Poets over the past two years had reminded her of “why songwriting is something that actually gets me through my life.” “I’ve never had an album where I needed songwriting more than I needed it on Tortured Poets,” she added.

The “Anti-Hero” singer first announced The Tortured Poets Department while accepting the best pop vocal award for Midnights at the 2024 Grammys on Feb. 4. Shortly afterward, she dropped the project’s tracklist, which features 16 core songs and collaborations from Florence + The Machine and Post Malone.
