Pop superstar Taylor Swift will be seen in Season 17 of NBC's "The Voice" as a "mega mentor." Her role will be to advise hopeful contestants on the judge's teams.
A promo for the show appeared Monday heralding Swift's upcoming appearances on the hit show.
News Announced On Instagram
In the video, Blake Shelton and John Legend are shown just having a little chat.
Legend: "I hear we have a Mega Mentor."
Shelton: "Yeah, but I don't know who it is. I know it's supposed to be a big star."
Legend: "Yeah, I think the person is like one of the most successful people in music but…"
Shelton: "That's true, but I can't be 'cause I'm a coach."
Swift then comes out from a trailer, greets them nonchalantly and walks away.
The caption for the Instagram video goes, "We promise that you’ll never find another Mega Mentor like her. See you soon @taylorswift."
She's the Only One
"OMG!!! She’s back!!! Definitely wildest dreams!!! She is the best!!!" wrote one underneath the video.

Swift Has Been Here Before
Swift was last a mega mentor in 2014 for Season 7.
News of this season's battle advisors was also revealed, among them Darius Rucker and Usher.
The Knockout Rounds of the show, when Swift advises the singers, will begin toward the end of October.
