Taylor Swift song seems to reference this 8-year-old video of Chiefs’ Travis Kelce

Some clues are more obvious than others.

That’s true for many things in life, especially Taylor Swift songs. Fans of the superstar singer waited nanoseconds before playing her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

The double-album was released in two parts on Thursday night and Friday morning. That gave Swifties a plethora of lyrics to inspect, and they believe at least two songs are about her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

There are multiple lyrics in “The Alchemy” that point to Kelce, and some on “So High School.”

There is one line in particular in the latter that mentions a game Kelce played in 2016 while on a TV station called Afterbuzz, which was created by the E! network.

Kelce was asked if he would kill, marry or kiss three celebrities: Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and Swift.

Guess who got the kiss? Swift.

Guess what Swift sang about on the new album? That moment.

These are the lyrics in question:

“Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me (Kill me)

“It’s just a game, but really (Really)“

Here is that clip that Swift apparently saw when it resurfaced earlier this year, and she filed it away for a line in a song.
