Taylor Swift Shut Out at 2019 Grammys as Fans Threaten Boycott: 'Taylor Sweetie I'm So Sorry'

Taylor Swift stayed away from the 2019 Grammys, and it seems her most diehard fans will, too.

Despite achieving huge success with her sixth studio album Reputation, Swift was only nominated for one award at the Grammys this year. Reputation was recognized in the best pop vocal album category but lost to Ariana Grande‘s Sweetener.

“The fact that Taylor Swift was snubbed yet again is just f—- sad. Sweetner didn’t achieve A QUARTER of what Reputation achieved but it still won. Taylor sweetie I’m so sorry,” one person tweeted Sunday.

“Taylor Swift doesn’t need the #GRAMMYs this era. With her last album she made the music she wanted to, said everything she needed to say, and reclaimed her reputation. ugh i truly love @taylorswift13 with my whole heart,” another user wrote.

But Swift didn’t seem to be sweating the snub and instead spent the night with boyfriend Joe Alwyn at the BAFTA Awards afterparty in London. The 10-time Grammy winner posted a Instagram celebrating his film The Favorite‘s seven wins at the BAFTAs, which are considered the British Oscars.

“AHHHHH @thefavouritemovie just won 7 @bafta awards !!! Bout to go give some high fives – thanks @stellamccartney for this dressss,” Swift wrote.

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards are broadcasting live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on CBS.
