The superstar singer recently made headlines for sending a cease and desist letter to a college student for tracking her airplane movements. This drama may have forced the "Bad Blood" hitmaker to sell one of her luxury jets, or it may just be a standard transaction.

New reports revealed Swift sold one of her private planes — a Dassault Falcon 900 jet that has been in her possession since 2009 — to a mysterious LLC at the end of last month.

The LLC's name was revealed as Triangle Real Estate, a business that had ties to the famous auto protection company CarShield. Digging into Triangle Real Estate showed the organization was incorporated in Missouri around 2006, with Nicholas Hamilton named as a former officer of the company.

Why is Hamilton important? This man is the CEO of CarShield, and the FAA listed the buyer's address as a CarShield call center out in St. Peters, Missouri. Hence, Hamilton ticks all the boxes as the possible new owner of Swift's Dassault Falcon 900 jet.

It remains to be seen if the CarShield CEO will flex his new purchase soon. But if he is the actual owner of Swift's jet, Hamilton must have spent a fortune.

According to TMZ, the actual sale price for the private plane hasn't been disclosed publicly; however, a new Dassault Falcon 900 jet is worth around $40 million.

Taylor Swift's Attorneys Slam Tracker For Harassment

Shortly before news broke about Swift's jet sale, she made waves for her beef with a young tracker named Jack Sweeney. The college student has a history of tracking celebrity jets, a hobby the power vocalist did not appreciate.

The Grammy winner, via her lawyers, reportedly forwarded a cease and desist letter sent to Sweeney. They warned him to stop the "stalking and harassing" behavior, or else they would be forced "to pursue any and all legal remedies."

Swift's attorneys claimed the tracker was causing their client emotional and physical distress as well as inviting possible stalkers that could put her safety in jeopardy. In their words:

The letter stressed that there was "no legitimate interest in or public need for" the "Cruel Summer" singer's movements to be tracked and advised Sweeney to stop or face the music.

Taylor Swift's Tracker Claims He Is Not Breaking Any Laws

The drama between Swift and Sweeney intensified with the latter's refusal to stop tracking the singer's movements. The cease and desist letter did not send fear down Sweeney's spine as he bravely confronted the allegations through his lawyers.

According to the college student and his attorneys, he is not violating any laws since the information he shares about Swift is available publicly. Sweeney tracks jets using data from the FAA and other details from fellow trackers.

He is said to have an Instagram page dedicated to tracking Swift's private jet and publishing private details, including her time of flight, distance covered, CO2 emissions, fuel usage, and fuel cost.

Sweeney also has a general page for publicizing flight info about other celebrities like Bill Gates, Kim Kardashian, Jeff Bezos, former President Donald Trump, and Elon Musk. He butted heads with Musk in 2022 while tracking the billionaire's private flights.

At the time, Musk offered the young tracker $5,000 to get off his case. However, Sweeney refused and allegedly asked for ten times the amount, to which the Tesla CEO didn't respond. Instead, the tracker's X account was deleted for publishing sensitive details.
