Everything looks picture-perfect in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s world right now. She’s a billionaire with another hit album and a wildly successful tour. He’s a recent Super Bowl winner whose career is opening up to Hollywood in a major way. What could go wrong?

Well, there is one thing that Swift is a bit nervous about, especially since their relationship has hit all of the right notes in the time they’ve been together. It’s the idea of waiting for the other shoe to drop and that something lurking in the shadows “will mess things up.” A Page Six source explained that Swift “wants a happy ending with Travis” and “she is worried about jinxing things.”

The darkness she appears to be worried about is her extreme level of fame, it’s hard for anyone to navigate. “There’s very little oxygen between her life and fame,” the insider pointed out. “Travis is a peacock, but he has never dated a celeb before, and she is one of the most famous women in the world. Right now he is enjoying everything, and she is hoping that it stays like that.” There are so many pitfalls to living life in the spotlight and it can catch up to you in the most unexpected way.

The 34-year-old superstar gives so much to her fans which makes them extremely loyal to her, but that also means there is little room for Kelce to make a mistake. Swift hopes that “he doesn’t get freaked out about the fame. That the constant-ness of it doesn’t get exhausting for him.” Swifties have to remember that they both have high-powered careers, and the pressure cooker has to be intense.

So, when they do get a chance to have private time, like their trip to the Bahamas or their weekend jaunt to Carmel-by-the-Sea with Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, they need that breathing room to be normal, average humans (if that’s possible). “They’re focused on rest and recuperation and relaxing at home and having low-key and chill time together,” an insider told Us Weekly in March. “They are enjoying movie nights in her home theater, catching up on films and shows they’ve missed.” Kelce and Swift deserve to have the space they need to connect as a couple because the white-hot spotlight of fame can be a very uncomfortable beast.
