Taylor Swift has us up in the clouds with her latest remix in collaboration with DJ BLOND:ISH. The duo released a soaring, revved up version of “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone, on Tuesday evening.

The single, which debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, was one of the songs off The Tortured Poets Department that took up the first 14 slots on the chart last month — breaking Swifts own Hot 100 record she previously set with Midnights in 2022.

Four hours before dropping, BLONDISH teased the collaboration on Instagram Stories, writing, “Gonna drop a curveball tonight.” After the track rolled out at 9 p.m. E.T., the DJ posted a video of her toasting with others while on a video call and quipped, “We’ve been Swifties for a fortnight now.”

The original track featured in the first video for TTPD and was released the same day as the album. The dystopian video was praised for its storytelling and included a cameo from actor Ethan Hawke, who played a bespectacled scientist, while Swift and Malone portrayed star-crossed lovers. “I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever,” Swift wrote on Instagram a day before the rollout. “I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on ‘Fortnight.

Upon its release, The Tortured Poets Department opened with over 2.6 million units sold, the second-biggest debut behind only Adele’s 25which garnered over 3 million album equivalent units in 2015.
