Even with her new dark, broody aesthetic of The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift is still a sparkly pop princess (although Swifties prefer to call her “the music industry”). Ozzy Osbourne, on the other hand, is a heavy metal rockstar who’s had his share of controversies over his decades-long career. These two Grammy-winning musicians couldn’t be more different — but apparently, they do have one adorable thing in common.

So, what do the Prince of Darkness and Tay Tay share? The same fans! Well, at least four of the same fans, according to Osbourne’s son Jack Osbourne. The Osbournes Podcast host shared that his four daughters (and Osbourne’s granddaughters!), Pearl, 10, Andy, 7, Minnie, 5 — who he shares with ex Lisa Stelly — and Maple, 21 months, who he shares with wife Aree Gearhart, went to the Eras Tour last August.

“My girls are all Swifties. They went to see her on the Eras tour,” Jack told PEOPLE. “And my eldest daughter isn’t as much of a Swiftie as my younger ones, and she was like, ‘I don’t really want to go.’ And I was like, ‘Listen.’ I was like, ‘I’m not the biggest Taylor Swift fan in the world, but I will say this, what you’re about to go to will be a thing of legend. You’ll be able to tell your kids you went and saw her on arguably the biggest tour and artist the world has ever seen.'”

For the son of the Black Sabbath legend to say that Swift is the biggest artist in the world is incredible. What an honor! In the interview, Jack recalled that his eldest daughter came around and “ended up having the best time ever.” “So yeah, my kids are full-blown Swifties,” he added.

And before the girls were born, Osbourne himself became a Swiftie. Osbourne’s wife Sharon Osbourne shared the experience on The Talk in 2013. “My husband doesn’t say anything about anyone — he knows who Taylor Swift is, he knows her music, but he’s never met her before, and he was so blown away with her beauty and the aura that she projects,” Sharon said, per Taste of Country. “He said to me, ‘I have finally met somebody that I can say is a true superstar.’ He said, ‘She reminds me of Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn.’”

“He called her the most magnificent young girl he’s met in his lifetime. He was so blown away by her,” Sharon added. (And as if you couldn’t love Osbourne any more, he recently called out Kanye West for being antisemitic, the same rapper who Swift has famously feuded with since 2009.)

It’s 2024, and if you want to have Ozzy Osbourne and Taylor Swift on your playlist (and maybe even Charlie Puth?), then go for it! Music transcends all our differences, which Osbourne and his granddaughters have definitely proved. You love to see it!
