Taylor Swift's Tuesday night was filled with friends, awards and a healthy dose of fangirling!

After walking the red carpet at the 2023 MTV VMAs, Swift made her way inside and in no time was taking home her first award, presented by none other than *NSYNC.

"You're pop personified, so to receive this from your golden pop hands is really ... it's too much," she said as she accepted the Moon Person for best pop video.

From sweet onstage moments, to reuniting with friends in the crowd, here's a look into Swift's stellar night at the VMAs.

Arriving in Style

Swift arrived at the 2023 VMAs on Tuesday night in a very Reputation-era Versace gown. The black halter dress, which she paired with matching jewelry and a messy updo, featured a high slit and gold buttons.

Fangirling Over *NSYNC

While accepting the award for best pop video, Swift was unable to hide her excitement for receiving the Moon Person from a reunited *NSYNC. 

"I had your dolls," she said after receiving beaded friendship bracelets from Lance Bass. "Like, are you doing something? What's going to happen now ... They're going to do something and I need to know what it is."

She continued, "You're pop personified, so to receive this from your golden pop hands is really ... it's too much. Thank you for the friendship bracelets."

Take Two

And in Swift style, she didn't stop at just one award. When she was awarded the prize for song of the year she seemed equally starstruck by her second set of presenters, Nelly Furtado and Timbaland, whom she also asked: "You guys are gonna do something right? Oh my God."

Having Some Girl Talk

Throughout the show, fans could see Swift and her "Karma" remix partner, Ice Spice, chatting from their seats and sharing in the excitement of the night. Oh, to be a fly on the wall ...

A Bestie Moment

And it simply wouldn't be right if we didn’t get a shot of these two together! Selena Gomez was also in attendance Tuesday night as she was nominated for song of the year, best collaboration and best Afrobeats — which she won alongside collaborator Rema.

Two Sweet Pals

Swift also shared a sweet moment with her pal and former Eras Tour opener, Sabrina Carpenter.

A Happy Reunion

The night was full of reunions for Swift, who also got to see her former music video costar Billy Porter, who appeared in the video for her song “You Need to Calm Down.”

Lucky No. 3

Swift also took home an award for her work behind the scenes, winning the Moon Person for best direction for her work on the music video for "Anti-Hero." To collect her third award of the night, she was accompanied by her collaborators, Chancler Haynes and Rina Yang.

Her Grand Finale

And to wrap up the night, Swift won the award for video of the year for "Anti-Hero." She was joined onstage again by her two collaborators and shared a sweet moment with them both, including this hug with Haynes.
