Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ Video to Debut During 2017 MTV Video Music Awards

You won’t have to wait that long to see the full video for Taylor Swift‘s “Look What You Made Me Do.” After giving a 15-second sneak peek at the glittery clip for the first single from the singer’s upcoming Reputation album (Nov. 10) on Good Morning America on Friday morning (Aug. 25), Swift will unveil the whole thing during Sunday night’s (Aug. 27) 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.
The channel revealed the the news on Friday morning, announcing that the exclusive first look at the full clip will take place during the show that kicks off at 8 p.m. ET/PT. From the looks of the teaser, Swift will continue her fascination with all things slithery, which began earlier this week with a series of enigmatic social media posts of snakes.

It’s unknown at this point what the reptiles have to do with the theme of the singer’s latest incarnation, but the video promises to continue the trope, as the first glimpses find Swift’s hands and wrists festooned with all manner of glittery diamond-encrusted snake rings and bangles. The singer is also hawking snake merch on her official website, including $60 gold and silver snake rings and a $75 black snake hoodie.
Sunday’s VMA’s will be hosted by Katy Perry and feature performances from Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony, Julia Michaels, Kendrick Lamar, Khalid, Logic, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, 30 Seconds to Mars, Alessia Cara and Kyle among others.
