Taylor Swift Is Living Her Best Life In Asia Right Now
On November 5, Taylor Swift touched down in Tokyo, Japan and the city could not suit her any better. The pastel colors and cat cafes have left her feeling completely at home.
Taylor is in Japan to give a performance at Alibaba's Singles Day in Shanghai next week, the equivalent of the American Black Friday.
She even brought her mom Andrea along for the trip, making it a mother daughter experience to remember. The two are extremely close, with Taylor seeing and talking to her mom frequently.

Taylor's Mom Was Diagnosed With Cancer
Sadly, Andrea Swift was diagnosed with cancer in 2015, and relapsed this year. Clearly, this has been a hard time for the Swift family and Taylor has even announced that she will not be doing a full tour for her recently released Lover album.
She told Zane Lowe on his show Beats 1, "Change happens not only in my career but in my life. And, I’ve got some pretty intense things happening with my family right now. I can’t go on long tours and not have the ability to go home if I need to. I have priorities that aren’t just touring now, and the fans have been really respectful of that in the past."
Fans Have Been Supportive Of Taylor
Fans were hugely disappointed to hear this news, however they've been incredibly supportive due to the circumstances.
On Twitter, user "It's Holli, isn't it?" wrote, "Be grateful Taylor is giving us a tour. It may be fewer shows than previous tours, but she’s choosing to see us when she’s in a really draining and difficult time. She doesn’t have to do any of this. She’s wanting to see us because we make her happy, so let’s simply do that."
She's Still Having A Great Time
Despite the stress that Taylor and her family must be under right now, they don't seem to be letting Andrea's diagnosis get them down.
Taylor recently posted a photo to her Instagram in which she wears a skin-tight bodysuit because who doesn't want to share when they're feeling themselves?
Not only that, but the picture was taken by her mom, who is enjoying the trip to Asia as much as her daughter. Perhaps Andrea could teach some other moms her camera skills, for when our Instagram husbands quit as a sign of protest.
Catch Taylor Live At Festivals Next Summer
Though she isn't touring next summer, Taylor announced to her 122 million Instagram followers that she will be performing at a series of festivals next summer. She'll even be creating her own, called "Lover Fest East and West," which she'll be announcing details of on her website soon.
We can't wait to see these performances next year, and wish Taylor's mom good health. In the meantime, Taylor seems to be enjoying Japan where she's been meeting tons of fans (and kittens!)
