Taylor Swift’s LA Date Night Outfit Was a Cute Shout-Out to Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift is continuing to prove she’s the Chiefs’ biggest fan, even during the off season. Ahead of the highly-anticipated release of her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Society, on April 19, the “Cruel Summer” star looked happy and relaxed as she stepped out with her boyfriend Travis Kelce for a date night in Los Angeles. The pair were seen smiling and holding hands before walking into the restaurant in photos taken by People, and Swifties quickly found a Chiefs Easter egg in the singer’s latest date night outfit.

On Friday, April 12, Kelce and Swift went to dinner at the celeb-loved Sushi Park (Kendall Jenner and ex-boyfriend Bad Bunny are also fans of the West Hollywood spot).

The 34-year-old singer went with her go-to school girl-chic style, pairing a dark top and a flirty denim skirt with a red and white bomber jacket that looked like it belonged in the Kansas City Chiefs stadium. Swift, who paired the athleisure look with loose waves and red lipstick, was all smiles as she chatted with her athlete boyfriend. Kelce opted to pair an olive green long sleeved top with matching shorts and a silver chain.

The “Karma” singer is no stranger to nailing the Chiefs WAG aesthetic, pairing custom Kansas City bombers and jackets with black thigh high boots, miniskirts, red lipstick, and crop tops throughout last season. Judging by her latest look, Swift is still continuing to embrace the classic red and white colorscape ahead of football season in September.

The couple's romantic outing comes shortly after Kelce admitted he "didn't know" how he started dating Swift.

“I don’t know how I did it because she wasn’t into sports, so I don’t know how the f*ck I did it," the 34-year-old tight end told rapper Lil Dicky and his brother Jason in an April 10 episode of his podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

Judging from Swift’s latest outfit, however, it looks like she’s fully part of the Chiefs fandom now.
