Before Taylor Swift‘s new album The Tortured Poets Department was released, fans of the singer speculated every single thing about the new album. Who will Swift talk about? Who will be the featured artists?

And while many of those theories have come true, including a series of references to her exes Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy, one unexpected thing from the album no one could’ve expected: Emma Stone‘s involvement. That’s right, People recently confirmed the recent Oscar winner has been credited with co-writing the song “Florida!!!”

Among the most powerful lyrics in the song “I got drunk and I dared it to wash me away / Barricaded in the bathroom with a bottle of wine / Well, me and my ghosts, wе had a hell of a time / Yes, I’m hauntеd, but I’m feeling just fine.”

The song, which is also co-written by Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine, had been teased by Swift ahead of the release. “‘Florida!!!’ is a song I wrote with Florence and the Machine, and I think I was coming up with this idea of like, what happens when your life doesn’t fit, or your choices you’ve made catch up to you,” Swift told iHeartRadio of her inspiration.

“You’re surrounded by these harsh consequences and judgment, and circumstances did not lead you to where you thought you’d be and you just want to escape from everything you’ve ever known,” she continued. “Is there a place you could go?”

As it turns out, for Swift (and the many episodes of Dateline she reportedly watches) the answer is none other than the state of Florida. “I think when you go through a heartbreak, there’s a part of you that thinks: I want a new name, I want a new life, I don’t want anyone to know where I’ve been or know me at all,” she continued. “So that was the jumping-off point behind where would you go to reinvent yourself and blend in? ‘Florida!!!’ “

And so while we’ve adored binging the entire album since its release, “Florida!!!” just got a million times sweeter to listen to with Stone in the credits. After all, what’s not to love about the Swift-Stone friendship?
