Taylor Swift gave fans a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into her life in a recent promotional video for her single, “Fortnight” off of The Tortured Poets Department.
In true Swift fashion, the musician was prepared with visuals and special features on her highly-anticipated 11th studio album. Released on April 19, which fans have noted has its own deeper meaning, The Tortured Poets Department kicks off with “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone. The night before the album's release, Swift posted a photo of her and Malone on Instagram announcing it would be the album's first single.
“I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever," she wrote. "I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight.”
After releasing a cinematic, black-and-white music video for the single, Swift also uploaded a much more intimate compilation video on YouTube Shorts that shows BTS from the music video shoot, along with clips from her life — including sweet moments with boyfriend Travis Kelce. In the caption, Swift writes, “Share your ‘fortnight’ recap with #FortnightChallenge."
The video is a series of clips including Kelce kissing Swift on the cheek as she cooks, while another clip shows cinnamon rolls. Maybe the cinnamon rolls that Swift reportedly made as a pre-game snack for her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend?
After the cute kiss from Kelce, Swift also showed another shot of the pair standing in front of a famous landmark in Singapore, holding hands. Swift performed six shows in the country earlier this year as part of the international leg of her Eras Tour. Kelce joined for multiple shows in both Singapore and Australia.

Swift also showed a selfie with Dead Poets Society actor Ethan Hawke, who is featured in the “Fortnight” music video that pays homage to the 1989 film. Another actor from the film, Josh Charles, is also featured in Swift's music video.
While the video did give a glimpse of the making of “Fortnight,” including her face tattoo makeup, Swift also showed some clips of her life outside of the music — including her drinking a smoky cocktail, working out, a video of her adorable cat, and her sitting and make crafts wearing a University of Kansas sweatshirt.
