ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Wheel is joining the Taylor Swift frenzy as her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was released yesterday, April 19, featuring a track list of 31 songs. Swifties are quickly trying to decipher all the lyrics, but for an opportunity to listen to the songs while enjoying the sights of the city, check out the Taylor Swift Listening Party at the St. Louis Wheel.

This weekend, fans can experience Swift’s latest hits on the St. Louis Wheel at Union Station. The 200-foot-tall Ferris wheel offers rides in specially decorated gondolas, themed around Swift’s music.

Each ticket includes a ride in the “lucky” number thirteen gondola and a souvenir photo. Additionally, riders will receive a free friendship bracelet while supplies last.

One couple, who were the first riders on Saturday, April 20, says they were excited to be there and experience the album while riding the wheel.

The former St. Louis brands and businesses missed most

“Yes, we had fun,” said Erin Cromer. “It was a nice break from listening to [the album] on loop for 24 hours and doing something fun in the sunshine with disco balls, and seeing the view of the city.”

“We knew all the songs,” said Joe Blair. “She mentioned that this album is full of ‘track 4s.’ [Taylor Swift] tends to have a ‘track 4’ that is heavy and about a breakup.”

The songs that played in the gondola were: “Guilty as Sin?”, “Fortnight”, and “Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus”.

With a ticket to the Taylor Swift Gondola, riders will get a picture and a friendship bracelet. Riders will experience a gondola ride filled with photos of Taylor Swift, decorations, and disco balls.

“I loved that they had little pics of all the different eras, and I liked her outfits; I thought that was cute, and the disco balls were great,” said Blair.

“We’ve been wanting to go to the St. Louis Wheel at Union Station for years as a couple, and this was the perfect opportunity too,” said Cromer.

The St. Louis Wheel operates from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and tomorrow, and until 9 p.m. on Sunday.
