Now, many are convinced she’s expanding her empire, but for what exactly? Many believe it could be that she’s making a play for theater, it could be another fashion or musical moment, or even a movie, especially since she’s allegedly going to partner with Disney for a film.
But no matter what the project is, the internet is seriously split on the name, especially on X, the app formerly known as Twitter.
The popular X account PopCrave reposted the news, and the comments couldn’t be more split.
Many comments were saying things like “… oh god cringe incoming,” “im sorry but this is so corny to me,” and “she’s so millennial and corny.” So many people don’t like the title or the potential subject of this project.
However, others praised her, saying, “Taylor Swift is easily one of the smartest business women in music,” and some loving her take on the popular online phrase of female rage, saying, “I love how chronically online she is.”
It’s still unclear what the project will be, but if we know Swift, there’s a grand plan behind the title, and upcoming project.
Per Mekiplaw, Swift currently owns over 200 federal trademark registrations, and has filed over 350 trademark applications since 2007. She has trademark for her names, song titles, tour names, her cats’ names, and even phrases associated with her songs like “this sick beat” and “nice to meet you.”
