Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship has been making waves this year, with the ‘pair ‘Shake It Off’ singer and Kansas City Chiefs player inevitably becoming one of the most talked-about couples in the celebrity world. As a result, many are wondering: is Taylor Swift engaged to Travis Kelce, and has that question been popped in 2023?

Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engaged?

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are not currently engaged to each other, but at least one famous face believes the duo could be engaged as early as May 2024.

One Tree Hill alum Hilarie Burton Morgan tweeted a prediction that Swift and Kelce “are gonna be engaged by May,” responding to a video of Kelce reacting to Swift altering a lyric in her song ‘Karma’ to reference their relationship.

Burton Morgan doesn’t appear to have any inside information aside from being a ‘Swiftie’ and an advocate for Taylor and Travis’s relationship, having tweeted back in September that she “painfully invested” in the couple.

But while Burton Morgan may join many Taylor Swift fans in hoping for her and Travis Kelce to tie the knot, thus far there has been no news on that front.

Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce getting married?

With no word of an engagement on the horizon, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce seemingly aren’t getting married anytime soon.

Neither Taylor nor Travis have been married before, though have both been in high-profile long-term relationships. Swift had previously been in a relationship with English actor Joe Alwyn, which reportedly lasted from 2017 until April 2023. Kelce was in a relationship with social media influencer Kayla Nicole from 2017 to 2022.

So while it’s not wedding bells just yet for the couple, rumors will continue to circulate as Swift fans (and unusually invested Chiefs fans) continue to root for the couple.
