Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are going their separate ways.

The singer, 26, and the DJ, 32, have broken up, multiple sources confirm exclusively to PEOPLE.

"There was no drama. Things just don't work out sometimes," says an insider.

In March, the pair celebrated their one-year anniversary with a tropical getaway.

"I'm just taking things as they come," Swift told Vogue earlier this year. "I'm in a magical relationship right now. And of course I want it to be ours, and low-key … this is the one thing that's been mine about my personal life."

Harris – who was briefly hospitalized on May 20 after a car accident – arrived back in L.A. on Tuesday after a short trip to the U.K.
