Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have become fast friends in recent months.

Amid the singer’s blossoming romance with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, Swift has also become close with the wives and girlfriends of his teammates, including Mahomes, who is married to quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The duo was first photographed grabbing dinner together in September 2023 ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New York Jets and were later seen mingling at MetLife Stadium as they sat in a box with many of Swift's famous friends.

It didn’t take long for the two to hit it off as they were later seen hanging out at other games, including one where they showed off their secret handshake.

Swift continued to bring Mahomes into her inner circle as they were seen grabbing dinner with some of the singer’s closest friends in N.Y.C., including Sophie Turner, Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid.

September 30, 2023: Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes grab dinner together in New York City

On Sept. 30, Swift and Mahomes were photographed grabbing dinner in N.YC. at Italian restaurant Emilio’s Ballato alongside Swift’s friends Sophie Turner and Blake Lively.

“They dined in a private room. Everyone had a blast,” a source told PEOPLE of the outing. “They all got along and were just laughing all night over drinks and delicious food." The group sat in the back room for over four hours, with Brittany staying till 1 a.m., and Swift leaving shortly after around 1:30 a.m.

Following the dinner, Mahomes’ friend Miranda Hogue shared a photo of the group enjoying drinks together.

Though the outing marked one of their first public appearances together, Swift had previously spent time with Mahomes at Kelce's post-game party in Kansas City on Sept. 24.

In addition to poking fun at the players with Lively, the “Blank Space” singer was also seen chatting with Mahomes in the box.

October 12, 2023: Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes hug it out at Kansas City Chiefs game

As Swift traveled to Kansas City to cheer on Kelce, she sat with Mahomes in Kelce's box at Arrowhead Stadium. During the game, they were seen excitedly cheering for their partners, and at one point, they shared a hug after one of the plays.

Swift and Mahomes continued to show off their sweet bond as they sat inside the Mahomes’ suite at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The NFL posted a video of the pair laughing and dancing as they cheered on the Chiefs. Swift was seen with a drink in her hand, while Brittany had her son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III on her hip.

During the second quarter, Swift and Mahomes were shown celebrating a play by debuting a secret handshake, which the NFL shared in a video posted on X. The two began by slapping the fronts and backs of their hands together five times, before then grasping each other’s hands and bumping their hips together. In another version, they topped it all off with a jumping chest bump.

October 27, 2023: Taylor Swift gifts Brittany Mahomes a 1989 cardigan

As Swift dropped 1989 (Taylor’s Version), she sent a handful of her closest friends a special blue cardigan in honor of the release. Mahomes shared a cute photo of her cardigan on her Instagram Story, captioning it, “#Taylor’s version.”

November 4, 2023: Taylor Swift grabs dinner with Brittany Mahomes and friends in N.Y.C.

In early November, Swift and Mahomes had another girls’ night as they joined some of the singer’s closest pals for dinner, including Turner, Gomez and Hadid.

The group was photographed at Bond St restaurant, as Swift linked arms with Gomez and held Mahomes' hand, while Turner and Hadid walked close behind. The restaurant even reposted a video on their Instagram Story later in the evening, showing the group as they left the venue amid a group of onlookers.

November 5, 2023: Taylor Swift hangs out with Brittany Mahomes for a Kansas City Chiefs viewing party

Swift and Mahomes kept the fun going the following night as the singer hosted a viewing party for Kansas City Chiefs' game at her New York City apartment with a handful of wives and girlfriends of the teammates. Following the outing, Mahomes shared a few photos from the night on Instagram, including one of them toasting with bubbly.

December 1, 2023: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce hang out with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes at holiday bar

In early December, locals spotted Swift and Kelce at holiday pop-up bar Miracle in Kansas City, where the Chiefs were holding a party. Mahomes and her husband were also in attendance for the event, where they donned matching reindeer onesies. Mahomes shared a cute photo of her and Patrick in their holiday gear on Instagram with the caption, “Falalalalalalalalala🎄.”

As photos circulated online, one Chiefs fan claimed on X that Swift and Kelce wore matching holiday sweaters, in line with the party’s theme, which featured a squirrel — a comical reference to one of Kelce's now-viral old tweets in which he misspelled the word.

December 3, 2023: Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes wear coordinating looks at Kansas City Chiefs game

Swift and Mahomes were spotted cheering in the box again as they watched the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Green Bay Packers. Mahomes was seen wearing an oversized NFL letterman jacket, while Swift wore an oversized red Stella McCartney red teddy coat.

After the game, Mahomes shared a cute photo of her and Swift with their pal Lyndsay Bell, whose husband is Kansas City tight end Blake Bell, standing in their suite as they rocked color-coordinated red-and-black outfits.

December 17, 2023: Brittany Mahomes hangs out with Taylor Swift and her dad at Chiefs game

Swift and Mahomes celebrated Christmas day together as they were seen cheering in the stands at the Chiefs game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The ladies were seen wearing matching Santa hats, with Swift's featuring Kelce's number and Mahomes' featuring her husband's number.
