If you identify as a pop culture enthusiast like myself, then you probably know Travis Kelce for being the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and (of course) Taylor Swift’s latest flame. And now, it looks like the 34-year-old athlete is adding a new title to his ever-growing resume: game show host.
According to Deadline, the football player is set to host a new show called Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?, which is a spinoff of the popular 2007 game show, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?. Oh, and did I mention that the upcoming quiz series is coming straight to Prime Video?

In honor of the news, Kelce released an official statement that read, “I grew up loving game shows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are you Smarter Than A Celebrity?. The original show is a great success, so [to be] bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen will definitely be entertaining. I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.”
Prime Video has ordered a total of 20 episodes for the first season of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, which will follow a group of contestants that will attempt to answer a series of questions (taken from the elementary school curriculum) with the help of a classroom filled with Hollywood celebrities in order to win a grand prize of $100,000.
