What could possibly hold more power than 99.9 percent of the global economy? Beyoncé and Taylor Swift joining forces at the Eras Tour documentary premiere, of course.
The pop superstars united Wednesday night at the Los Angeles debut of Swift's new concert film, posing together for photos and a short video together while seated inside the Grove's AMC Theatre.
"I'm so glad. I'll never know what my life would've been like without @beyonce's influence," Swift wrote on Instagram after the event. "The way she's taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She's been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairy tale."
The union comes after both artists have made a titanic impact on the touring industry, with Beyoncé's Renaissance tour pulling in $579 million globally from only 56 shows, making it the highest-grossing solo female tour of all time.
Swift will likely break Beyoncé's record, however, as the ongoing Eras tour is eyeing a final tally of more than $2 billion when it wraps in November 2024, according to industry projections.
The importance of both tours on local economies was noted throughout the summer, with Beyoncé and Swift fans booking up massive numbers of local hotel rooms and spending money at regional retailers in various cities around the world.

According to a Fortune story on a study by research company QuestionPro, Swift's tour could generate $4.6 billion in consumer spending in the United States by the end of the concert series.
