"Sorry about that," Koy said after the comment.

Taylor Swift didn't seem like she wanted to shake it off after a joke at her expense failed to land at the 2024 Golden Globes.

After a commercial break during Sunday's awards show, which aired on CBS right after the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs versus Los Angeles Chargers game, host Jo Koy said, "As you know, we came on after a football doubleheader. The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? On the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift, I swear."

The camera, of course, cut to Swift seated at her table next to friend Keleigh Teller, and she played her reaction to the joke, which was an obvious reference to the air time she gets when she attends boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Chiefs games, very straight. The Grammy winner remained extremely straight-faced and took a sip of her drink as Teller mouthed something to her. (She previously told Time of the unwanted attention, “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”)

It's unclear if Koy could see Swift's face or if it was all a joke Swift was in on, but after the moment didn't really land with the audience, he laughed and said, "Sorry about that," before moving on. Watch the entire exchange below.

Swift didn't let it stop her from enjoying the rest of the evening, however. In true Swift awards show fashion, she could be seen loudly laughing at a different joke made by Jim Gaffigan; posing for photos with bestie Selena Gomez and apparent fan Bill Hader; and she was quick to hop out of her seat to give a standing ovation to the team behind Barbie, who won the Golden Globe for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, the lone category Swift was nominated in for her record-breaking Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film.
