Taylor Swift Appears On The Cover Of British Vogue, After Spending Thanksgiving With Her Boyfriend

It seemed Taylor Swift was having a difficult time recently, amid her dispute with Scooter Braun. However, she now appears to be on top of the world.

After a stellar performance at the 2019 American Music Awards, where she accepted the award for Artist Of The Decade, Taylor appears to be on a high.

She recently appeared on the cover of British Vogue, in which she talked to Andrew Lloyd Webber about her recent performance in the movie adaptation of Cats.

Taylor Looked Fantastic On The Cover Of British Vogue

Wearing vintage Chanel, and her famously curly tresses in a straight style, Taylor looked absolutely stunning.

The singer wore a cream colored tweed jacket from Chanel's Métiers d’art Paris-New York 2005/2006 collection. The Editor-In-Chief of the magazine, Edward Enninful, explained the decision in regards to sustainability in fashion. He said, “I wanted to put a vintage Chanel jacket on the cover of Vogue because I feel that, with the global climate crisis, we all have to do what we can to contribute to the conversation around sustainability."

She Spoke About Writing Music

Taylor discussed her role in Cats for the magazine's January 2020 issue with Andrew Lloyd Webber. The pair have even written a song together for the film, called “Beautiful Ghosts."

Taylor said during the interview, “I think (writing) is really important – also from the side of ownership over what you do and make." Seemingly a dig at Scooter Braun, whom she is still feuding with over the rights to her music.

She continued, “Even if you aren’t a natural writer, you should try to involve yourself in the messages you’re sending.”

Webber later asked the singer about how she wrote her new album Lover, with Taylor explaining, "I’d just come from a stadium tour, and then did Cats, which was all based on live performances – so a lot of that album is nearly whole takes. When you perform live, you’re narrating and you’re getting into the story and you’re making faces that are ugly and you’re putting a different meaning on a song every time you perform it.”

Taylor stars in the movie along with a whole host of famous faces including Judi Dench.

Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving

In the week leading up to Thanksgiving, Taylor celebrated "friendsgiving" with many famous faces, including Gigi Hadid, Antoni Porowski, Martha Hunt.

A source told E!, "It's an annual tradition for Taylor to get together with close friends and do this. Many have been at her gathering in years past. This year was intimate and casual, but they all had a great time."

It appears she was celebrating the American holiday early, as she flew to London to be with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn on Thanksgiving day.

Another source told E!, "She arrived on Thursday [in London] from New York and is spending the weekend there."

It appears Taylor is going into the holidays and a new year on quite a high!
