Taylor Lewan and his wife, Taylin Lewan (née Gallacher), had a whirlwind romance. The NFL player and former model first met in February 2016 — and got engaged a month after meeting each other.

“I met him once in passing because I met his mom first. And I met him, and she was like, ‘Don’t talk to my son. He’ll fall in love with you.’ And I was like, ‘Okay, no problem,’ ” Taylin shared on the Out of Bounds podcast in 2022.

She continued, “Right before I was about to move to L.A., I got into one conversation with him, and then he followed me out there. If Taylor wants something, he’s gonna get it.”

The couple married in April 2016 but waited to announce the news until later that summer in July. The following year, Taylor and Taylin welcomed their first child, a daughter named Wynne. They expanded their family again with another daughter, Willow, born in July 2019.

The Bussin' With The Boys co-host shared his feelings about Taylin in a 2023 interview with his former NFL team, the Tennessee Titans. “I have a wife that is truly incredible, puts up with my b------- on a daily basis, and loves me for it,” he said.

She’s from Canada

Taylin is originally from Kelowna-Lake Country in British Columbia, Canada. Throughout the years, she has taken her husband and their children on trips to visit beautiful sights in her home country, including going camping.

Meanwhile, when she's stateside, Taylin shows off her pride of being from the Great White North in different ways, like wearing a Canadian tuxedo to "represent" her "heritage."

She’s a former model

On the Out of Bounds podcast, Taylin revealed that while living in Florida, she was scouted for modeling “at 17 or 18.” She recalled thinking that she would see where the profession would take her, which included her shooting editorials for brands like Calvin Klein.

The Canadian has shared several photos from her modeling days on Instagram all the way back to 2015.

Still, it wasn't her passion. She shared on Out of Bounds that she "had a hard time" in the modeling industry and hoped it would be a stepping stone to another path.

"I was like, 'It's gotta lead into something else, there's a different calling I have to have,' " Taylin said. Around this time, at age 20, she met Taylor — but it was almost a missed connection.

Shortly after crossing paths, she was about to sign a modeling contract in Los Angeles, and Taylor followed her west.

They met in February 2016

Speaking on Out of Bounds, Taylin revealed that she met Taylor in February 2016. The NFL player later explained on his Instagram he started to get to know her 10 days before Valentine’s Day in 2016. At the time, he was in Arizona while she lived in Nashville.

“You were going back to Nashville and I was so scared if you would even come back,” he captioned a black-and-white photo of them. “2 weeks later you came back to AZ and we got engaged, I love you so much.”

According to Taylin, she only knew Taylor for five weeks before he proposed to her.

They eloped in April 2016

Taylor and Taylin wed on April 20, 2016, in an intimate church ceremony in Tennessee. It was officiated by a priest the couple "hired 24 hours in advance," according to Taylor's Instagram.

Taylin added that they decided to get married "three days before." The following day, she posted the first photo with her now-husband on her Instagram, in which the two shared a kiss at their wedding.

Three months later, Taylor and Taylin announced their engagement in separate social media posts but stopped short of sharing that they were already husband and wife.

The athlete posted a photo of Taylin playfully putting her hand over his mouth with her diamond ring front and center. He revealed that he didn't believe in "love at first sight" until he met her. Taylor shared how, although they had only been together for a short time, she had significantly impacted him.

“She is truly the most beautiful, strong, kind hearted woman I have ever met in my life and I'm going to work every day to make sure she is the happiest woman in the world," he wrote.

Taylin also celebrated the happy news alongside a photo of Taylor kissing her hand, writing, “This guy stopped me dead in my tracks and has shown me what a man is capable of."

They had an official wedding in July 2018

Taylor and Taylin got married in a more official wedding ceremony with family and friends in Big Sur, California, on July 7, 2018.

The outdoor wedding featured a backdrop of the redwoods and the coastline. The special occasion's décor included watercolor paintings and art inspired by the ocean waves.

Event planner Jessica Sloane revealed that Taylor originally wanted guests to get tattoos on-site, but they settled for a tarot card reader instead. Their daughter, Wynne, was also part of the ceremony.

They have two daughters

Taylor and Taylin have two daughters: Wynne and Willow.

Taylin announced she was pregnant with their first daughter on Instagram in February 2017. She revealed the news with a personal video of them dancing together after finding out they would be "welcoming a sweet baby girl."

Wynne was born in July 2017, and the new mom shared her exciting arrival by explaining the meaning behind her unique name.

“We welcomed our baby girl, Wynne Rebel Lewan," Taylin captioned Instagram photos of her husband with their newborn. "She takes her first name from her Great Grandpa Wynn. I've never been more in love with a beautiful little human and the man who gave her to me. My heart is over flowing.”

A few years later, she announced her second pregnancy on Instagram in March 2020, alongside a sweet bump picture with daughter Wynne and a sonogram. She captioned the pictures, "'Where’s your sister?’ July 2020 🤍🙏🏻.”

Indeed, Willow arrived later that summer. "Last week we welcomed our second baby girl. In all this chaos, everything is right in our world," Taylin wrote on Instagram, next to a snap of her daughter. "Taking in every second with baby Willow.. 🍃."

She’s an animal advocate

Taylin is an animal lover, a passion that began with her dog, Akira, whom she has had since 2012.

She's also expressed her appreciation of skunks, mule deer, monkeys and lambs on her Instagram. The former model frequently posts updates about her family's farm, which has “13 chickens, 3 ducks, one bunny, 3 horses and 3 dogs.”

On Out of Bounds, Taylor shared that she went to South America to film a documentary on animal trafficking. “I’ve always had a heart for things that don’t have a voice,” she said.

She loves spending time outdoors

Taylin grew up in western Canada and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors. She loves activities like fishing (especially fly fishing), cross-country skiing and gardening.

When she's not outdoors, Taylin likes doing low-impact fitness activities. On her Instagram, she has shared her love of Pilates, and on her wedding day in 2018, she got in a yoga session before the ceremony.

She started a charity

In April 2020, Taylin co-founded Feeding Nashville with Hayley Hubbard (wife of Florida Georgia Line singer Tyler Hubbard) to provide food to people affected by hunger amid the coronavirus pandemic and in the aftermath of a 2020 tornado.

“I said, what if we raise money to pay chefs, who were furloughed due to COVID-19, to create food to give to whoever wanted it,” she recalled on the Out of Bounds podcast. “Anybody who felt hungry can come get it.”

Taylin often posts about the organization on Instagram and shared that by September 2020, they had been able to feed more than 25,000 people.
