There are sports tattoos, and there are works of art.

This is a work of art.

Tattoo artist Steve Butcher posted this tattoo of one of the iconic moments from the LeBron James-Dwyane Wade Miami Heat era on his Instagram page on Thursday.

It’s a stunningly lifelike recreation of a photo captured during a December 2010 Heat game against the Milwaukee Bucks of James going in for a dunk on a fast break assist from Wade. If you haven’t seen it, here’s the play.

Wade has said that he wants to hang the photo in his house with James’ autograph after their careers are over.

Butcher wrote on the Instagram post that the tattoo took him 21 hours to complete. Here’s another shot of the ink in progress.

It’s not the first Butcher has shared a lifelike portrayal of a sports figure on his Instagram page.

Here’s Kobe Bryant.

And here’s Sylvester Stallone as Rocky.

Butcher is getting a lot of attention for his work thanks to the James-Wade tattoo. It’s well deserved.
