The court now calls Jennifer Walters to the bench.

Marvel dropped the first trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Tuesday, giving fans their best look yet at Tatiana Maslany's mean, green lawyer. The Orphan Black star headlines the new She-Hulk series (debuting on Disney+ on Aug. 17), which follows brilliant lawyer Jennifer as she juggles her professional duties and new, Hulk-ish super strength.

The trailer introduces Jennifer as an ambitious attorney who's overseeing the "superhuman law division" at an elite law firm. One of her clients appears to be Tim Roth's Emil Blonsky, the villain of 2008's Incredible Hulk movie with Edward Norton. (He's also better known as Abomination, a monstrous figure who also popped up in last year's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.)

But Jennifer isn't just defending superhuman clients; she's one herself. Like her Avenger cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Jennifer can turn into a colossal green hero with unimaginable strength. But when she transforms, she doesn't lose her head and morph into a hulking rage monster, like Bruce used to. Instead, she maintains her intelligence and her composure, much like how Bruce learned to adjust to being "Professor Hulk."

"Your transformations are triggered by anger and fear," Bruce tells her in the trailer, above.

"Those are like the baseline of any woman just existing," she retorts.

The series follows Jennifer as she learns to cope with her powers and her demanding law job. Still, just because she's got super-strength and a famous cousin doesn't mean she's ready to take up full-time heroics. "I'm not a superhero," she says in the trailer. "That is for billionaires and narcissists and adult orphans, for some reason."

The show's cast also includes Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

She-Hulk is one of several Marvel series in the works for Disney+: Up next, Iman Vellani will star in the Ms. Marvel show, premiering June 8, followed by Secret Invasion, Armor Wars, Ironheart, and an untitled spinoff about Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness.
