She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany won’t back down from her comments about Disney CEO Bob Iger that were made during the SAG-AFTRA strikes. But she seems somewhat sorry that she smashed the CEO of the company that produces her show.

In an interview with The Independent, Maslany defended her rebuttal when Iger claimed that the actors’ demands while on strike were “not realistic.”

Maslany said in response to that comment that Iger was “completely out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen, who make people watch these shows, who bring viewers to him and make him money.”

Now, Maslany admits, “In those moments, you’re so heated up. It’s hard to articulate yourself in a way that you want when you’re on the picket line with everybody.”

Maslany noted what she termed the continuous level of disrespect towards performers in the industry. Among the gripes: sending in audition tapes that ultimately go nowhere. “You send these tapes into the void, you never get responses, you never get any feedback and you’re working! You’re filming yourself and having to edit yourself, which is also the stuff that makes you so self-conscious.”

The actress was recently confirmed as being cast alongside Elijah Wood in an upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s The Monkey, and is currently promoting her latest animated film Butterfly Tale. Whether She-Hulk will return is still uncertain.
