Tate McRae is on a career high, courtesy of her new hit, “greedy,” and the pop star is set to strut her stuff with the sassy pop track at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), presented by Marriott Bonvoy.
On Thursday, November 16, McRae was announced as a performer for the BBMAs, a celebration of music’s greatest achievements, honoring the year’s hottest names in music determined by year-end performance metrics on the Billboard charts. This year’s show is set for a makeover, with performances and award celebrations taking place in custom venues across the globe. For McRae, the Canadian star is set to make her debut at the annual award show to sing the Ryan Tedder-produced track at the Moxy Downtown Los Angeles, a part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio of hotel brands. The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 in late September, and has spent eight weeks on the chart. Since then, “greedy” has peaked at the No. 11 position.
