Taste of Chicago 2023 food and music lineup announced

Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and Mayor Brandon Johnson on Wednesday announced much of the food and music lineups for this September’s Taste of Chicago in Grant Park.

The three-day event will take place Friday, Sept. 8 to Sunday, Sept. 10 near Buckingham Fountain at Jackson and Columbus, with some 35 vendors and 15 food trucks and music on three stages. Admission is free, vendors accept cash and credit cards (no Taste tickets required). The Goose Island stage lineup, presented in collaboration with the Chicago Independent Venue League, is still to be announced. All three days also include music and dance by the Chicago SummerDance series.
