Will Tariq St. Patrick meet his match or his maker? The answer is unclear, but the journey to figuring that out has been summed up in the suspenseful, jaw-dropping trailer for the fourth and final season of Power Book II: Ghost.

As shared by STARZ on Thursday (May 9), Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) has to finally choose to embrace his family name—for better or worse. With everyone seeking revenge, they all decide to either dive deeper into the game or fight for a way out. As power dynamics shift and familial tension surges, STARZ says, “The high-adrenaline twists and turns of this season will have viewers guessing who, if anyone, makes it out alive.”

Series star Michael Rainey Jr. adds, “While this chapter of ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ is ending, you absolutely cannot miss this final season. I’ve loved working with this cast and crew and we can’t wait for you to see this epic grand finale to a series that’s been so close to our hearts over the past four years. The Power Universe is blessed with the most amazing fans and I personally can’t wait for their reactions as all of the action unfolds!”

Similar to how his father, James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) has had to evade a federal investigation more than once, Tariq gets confronted by Detective Don Carter (Michael Ealy), who’s on a mission to prove that the fruit doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Towards the end of the two-minute trailer, Tariq is suited up in a nightclub, eerily reminiscent of when he shot James in Truth during Power‘s final season.

“I gotta use all parts of him: the good parts of him, the bad parts of him,” he narrates. “They gotta get what’s coming to them. I’m not gonna rest until that happens.”

Rainey Jr. stars alongside Mary J. Blige, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Gianni Paolo, Woody McClain, Lovell Adams-Gray, LaToya Tonodeo, Alix Lapri, Larenz Tate, and Caroline Chikezie.

Part one of Ghost‘s final season debuts on Friday, June 7, at midnight ET on the STARZ app, on the 10th anniversary of Power’s debut. Part two premieres on Friday, September 6.
