Tarek El Moussa Has a New Girlfriend & Fans Think She Looks Just Like Christina Anstead

This Flip or Flop star has moved on… with someone who looks eerily similar to his ex. Tarek El Moussa was seen kissing Selling Sunset‘s Heather Rae Young, and fans think she looks like the HGTV star’s ex-wife, Christina Anstead. El Moussa and Young — a cast member on Netflix’s reality show Selling Sunset — were spotted making out on Sunday, July 28, at the Portofino Hotel & Marina in Redondo Beach, California. According to TMZ, the couple traveled there together from Newport Beach, where the Flip or Flop star is currently living.

In photos obtained by TMZ, the pair can be seen relaxing on a boat, as El Moussa wraps his arm around what could be his new girlfriend. Other photos show the two looking intimately at each other before they both lean in for a romantic kiss. (See the photos here.) At first look, there are some noticeable similarities between Young and Anstead — El Moussa’s ex-wife and former Flip or Flop co-host whom he divorced in 2016. Both Young and Anstead (who is now married to TV presenter Ant Anstead) are blonde and have careers in real estate and reality TV. Anstead was a house flipper and real estate investor for HGTV’s Flip or Flop, while Young is a realtor for The Oppenheim Group, a luxury Los Angeles real estate that’s featured on Netflix’s reality show, Selling Sunset.

Since the news of El Moussa and Young’s make-out session broke, fans haven’t been able to get over the resemblance between El Moussa’s ex and current girlfriend. “I thought that was his ex wife at first glance. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️,” one fan tweeted. Another fan commented, “Guess he has a type,” while another wrote: “She looks like his ex. 🤷‍♀️”

Of course, there are those who have defended (instead of trolled) El Moussa for dating someone who looks like his ex. It’s El Moussa’s life, and he can date whoever he wants. Perhaps he has a type or perhaps it’s a coincidence that Young has a similar career and physical appearance to Anstead. We don’t even know if they’re officially dating yet. But what we do now is that El Moussa is out there and dating after his divorce, and power to him.

“Everyone flipping out because @tarekelmoussa was kissing a woman who looks like Christina. 1. He has a thing for blondes…so what? And 2. Im pretty sure if you’re single you can kiss whoever the hell you want…so leave him alone,” one fan wrote. We could agree more.
