Tamra Judge Looks Back on ‘Simpler Times’ in a Sizzling '90s Bikini Throwback Photo

'The Real Housewives of Orange County' star opened up about a health scare involving an intestinal obstruction in October

Tamra Judge is taking a steamy trip down memory lane!

In a throwback Thursday post shared on Instagram, The Real Housewives of Orange County mainstay sizzled in a photo of herself wearing a black bikini with yellow embroidery taken some time in the '90s.

"Simpler times. 😎🍯," she captioned the post alongside several hashtags that included "#1990s #90s #tbt #throwback #throwbackthursday #realhousewives #rhoc #realhousewivesoforangecounty."

In the photo, Judge bared abs and a perfect tan as she lounged on a poolside chair. She accessorized with black sunglasses and gold bangle bracelets.

Earlier this month, the reality star, 56, showed off the new ink she got in honor of her children and her wedding anniversary to Eddie Judge. In a clip shared to her Instagram Story, Judge could be seen lying down in a tattoo parlor as an artist worked on the inside of her right wrist. She tagged Laguna Beach-based tattooist Rick Coury in the post.

In her next slide, Judge showed off the finished results — a small black cross representing her Christian faith, along with four dots in honor of her children, Ryan, 37, Sidney, 25, Spencer, 23, and Sophia, 18.

A follow-up slide revealed she had a second tattoo inked on her forearm, this one in honor of her and husband. The design featured the date June 15 written in cursive script.

Judge is on the mend following a health scare in October. She was hospitalized after abdominal pain led her to being diagnosed with intestinal obstruction. She posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed at the time, writing, "Praying I won't need surgery."

Several days later, Judge shared a positive update, as well as more details about her health. In a video message posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), she thanked her fans for all of their well-wishes before explaining that she fell ill in Scotland while filming season 2 of The Traitors.

“About four weeks ago, I got extremely sick in Scotland,” she said. “I powered through. It was difficult, but I came home and continued to have some very serious stomach cramping.”

After being evaluated at the hospital, she learned that she was experiencing an intestinal obstruction — but she was fortunately able to avoid having to go into the operating room.

“Basically, I’ve had many abdominal surgeries for my intestinal problems I’ve had throughout the years and there’s scar tissue, so luckily they were able to put a tube down my nose and suck everything out for 24 hours and they didn’t have to do surgery,” she explained.

She added that she was “hoping it doesn’t happen again" and that she would be able to go home soon.
