When it comes to her skin, Tamra Judge is always trying out the latest procedures. Back in 2020, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member received a CO2 laser treatment on her face and shared graphic updates on social media of the painful-looking recovery process along the way.

More recently, Tamra shared the details of another skincare procedure that elicits a somewhat arduous-seeming recovery: IPL, or intense pulsed light therapy. According to WebMD, the treatment “uses light energy” to target areas of the skin and can “treat a range of skin conditions” at once, unlike lasers.

Sharing what “Day 3” looks like for her therapy from Cosmediki Medical Aesthetics, Tamra showed fans a detailed photo of the effects of the treatment in process, including how “spots” on her chest were “turning darker” and were “[a] little itchy and red.”

Per WebMD, Tamra’s snapshot is in line with what one should expect when recovering from IPL, including having “red or bruised” areas for a few days as the skin heals.

In addition to sharing the details of her IPL treatment, Tamra went on to document how she was taking on “maintenance month” for her skin and body, including getting Botox at Dr. Milind K. Ambe’s office in Newport Beach, California, with registered nurse Cora Galante.

The RHOC mom also noted that she was due for a “[six] week tummy check” with Dr. Donald S. Mowlds following her recent surgery.

The update comes after Tamra opened up about her recent abdominal surgery on her Instagram Stories and her Two T’s in a Pod podcast.

“It bothered me, but it never really bothered me,” she said of not having a belly button after an emergency surgery for an incarcerated hernia a decade ago. After meeting with a doctor who agreed to do a revision surgery to fix her belly button, Tamra then learned of another hernia that needed to be removed.

In addition to speaking about the surgery on her podcast, she also shared more details about her condition in a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories, noting that her surgery was “brutal” but that she was “getting better every day.” Tamra also joked about how those hernias may have come about.

“Most likely from carrying the entire OC [H]ousewives franchise on my back for all those years,” she quipped.
