Tammy Slaton Feels 'Guilty' on Vacation Without Husband Caleb Willingham in “1000-Lb. Sisters” Teaser (Exclusive)

Tammy Slaton is having a hard time being away from her husband.
In PEOPLE’s exclusive clip from Tuesday’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, the 37-year-old is on a family vacation in Pensacola, Florida, with siblings Amy, Chris, Amanda and Misty.
Although she’s excited for the trip, Slaton is missing her husband Caleb Willingham, who still lives in Ohio at the rehab facility where they first met. (Note: This episode was filmed before Caleb Willingham died in June 2023)
In the clip, Slaton calls Willingham on FaceTime and shows him where she’s staying and her big suite while sharing that she wishes they were together.
“Originally, I was supposed to be on this family trip,” Willingham said. “I was supposed to be dropping this weight and it hurts all the more thinking that this could’ve been like a honeymoon…that was the plan. And here I am, still in rehab.”

Slaton and Willingham met at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio, in 2022. He proposed in October, and in November, PEOPLE exclusively revealed that the couple had married.
However, after 14 months in rehab and losing enough weight for bariatric surgery, Slaton was able to leave the facility and go home while Willingham stayed and continued treatment for obesity.
“I miss my husband so much and I feel guilty that he can’t be there with us,” Slaton says in a confessional.
“This sucks,” she tells her husband over the phone. “You’re not able to enjoy anything like this right now.”

Willingham keeps a positive attitude and shares that although he missed the vacation to Pensacola, the rehab facility is having a summer festival and he’ll be going to the carnival.
“Of course it ain’t gonna be that big. But to me, it’s a step forward in life, like living and having fun.
“Don’t worry, I ain’t spending $300 on no carnival food,” he quipped, before making Slaton laugh about the ostrich and gator he’s hoping to eat at the carnival.
A new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters airs Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 9PM ET/PT.
