Tamera Mowry-Housley Enjoys Christmas with Her Husband Adam and Their Two Kids: 'Sending Waves of Joy'

The 'Sister Sister' alum is mom to daughter Ariah and son Aden

Tamera Mowry-Housley had fun making memories with her kids this Christmas.

The actress, 45, shared scenes from her holiday on Instagram with daughter Ariah, 8, son Aden, 11, whom she shares with husband Adam Housely.

In the sweet photo, the family of four poses on the beach at sunset. Tamera stands behind her daughter, holding her by the shoulders, while Adam stands behind Aden. The actress also included solo shots of her daughter and her son on the beach as they watched the waves.

"From our family to yours, we're sending waves of joy and the warmest Merry Christmas wishes! May your holidays be filled with bright and cheerful energy this year. 🎄🙏🏽✝️," the proud mom wrote in her caption.

Last month, Tamera shared a photo to her Instagram of her son Aden as she celebrated his 11th birthday. Aden smiled in the photo, looking up while he placed one hand in his pocket and wore a sweatshirt that read "sanfranciscocalifornia."

"Screaming Happy 11th Birthday to the boy that made me a mother for the first time!" Mowry-Housley wrote in her caption. "Every morning I get excited to see that face of yours getting that momma hug 🤗 and hearing your excitement for the day!"

"Your passion for life and drive to be a great person makes us so proud! We love you! #happybirthday🎂."

Last year, the Sister, Sister alum opened up to PEOPLE about realizing the value of rest.

"I'm enjoying taking advantage of the downtime that I'm able to have with my family as a working, traveling mom," the mom of two said of the holiday season.

At this time of year, that means a lot of quality time with her family of four.

"It's such a blessing — and I want to hold on to it as long as I possibly can, I'm praying that it will be like this in the future — but we literally love spending quality time together. Like my children love being with our family," shared the actress.

"I don't know how long that's gonna last, but they are 10 and 7 now. We love sitting down, right now watching Christmas movies — Jingle Jangle, Christmas Chronicles, Santa Clause, Home Alone."
