Tamar Braxton Confirms Chrisean Rock Assaulted Singer James Wright Chanel At Her Show
Tamar Braxton has confirmed an alleged assault that took place at her show involving singer James Wright Chanel and reality star Chrisean Rock. Additionally, Tamar found herself addressing comments made by Love & Hip-Hop‘s Tommie Lee.
On Monday (Nov.13), the R&B crooner broke her silence “out of respect for James” and her team. She posted a video declaring that Rock is responsible for “traumatizing” her friend and background singer. “He got assaulted at my show, and it was by Chrisean,” the “Love and War” singer named the Baddies star.
She added, “I’m not a clout chaser, I don’t need that,” referring to a comment made by Tommie claiming that Rock is the reason Tamar’s performance went viral.
“Chrisean is someone I look at like, from afar, a younger sister,” Tamar continued. “She was somebody I wanted to meet, to possibly take under my wing.” She also shared that she felt connected to Rock as they’re both from Maryland.
The 46-year-old went on to explain how Rock even ended up at the show. Tamar admitted that she did indeed invite the Baltimore native to come on stage for the show’s “twerk off” but not to perform. She added that there must have been a “misunderstanding” between both parties.
Tamar also confirmed that Wright Chanel was indeed left with a bloody nose, “concussion,” and his teeth damaged — resulting in needing dental assistance.
Towards the end of the video, the award-winning starlet confessed that the entire incident has unfortunately made her rethink if she should go through with the second leg of her Love and War Tour.

Besides Tamar posting a video explaining herself, she also exchanged words with Tommie — who seemingly defended Rock.
“I just wonder… if she wasn’t there would this one have been this viral… remember the question when you respond,” the controversial reality star commented on a video of Rock coming on stage with Tamar.
In response, the “All The Way Home” artist took to her Instagram Story apparently throwing shots at Tommie.
“And before someone takes my phone.. if you on cocaine and your name starts with a T and u never even sold out a bag of blow pops… stay silent,” Tamar clapped back. “God bless y’all.. let me and my team heal from this trauma in peace.”
Tommie responded to the subliminal post with, “Gotta address me for it to hit muppet baby! Nothing a bi**h say apply to me so ion be moved at all.”
Since the entire incident and its aftermath, Chrisean Rock has deactivated all of her social media accounts.
