Talk show icon and ‘Vampire Diaries’ star slay on ‘The Masked Singer’
It was Muppets night on The Masked Singer, Wednesday, but it was the Beetle’s performance that had everyone wondering, “Who was behind the mask?” The Beetle, who looked more like a lady bug if I’m being honest, crooned “The Way You Look Tonight.” Viewers at home were just as excited to learn the magic voice behind the mask was beloved talk show host, Jerry Springer.
“Honestly, Jerry, you really are a natural crooner,” said celebrity panelist Nicole Scherzinger.
“I don't know what to say,” Springer replied, “but all my life I've been looking for a woman with no taste…I'm joking!”
Jerry wasn’t the only celebrity singing on Wednesday. Robo Girl returned for a second week and performed a masterful rendition of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Fans were shocked to learn that the amazing singer behind the mask was none other than The Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham. But they weren’t as shocked as Scherzinger, who had just recently attended a Black Eyed Peas concert with Graham.
“Oh, my gosh. I feel so stupid,” said Scherzinger. “I feel like Ken right now. When you know the person, when they're your friend, and then they unmask. You're like, ‘Oh, dang, I can't believe I didn't get it.’"
